The conservative party has only one choice of spending money: with their donors and one choice of raising taxes: on everyone who works.
If you work for your money or run your own business, you pay more taxes.
I can give you plenty of suggestions, but that's not going to change this government.
It's not just suggestions we need tho is it Woosh. All the dissatisfied, disenfranchised and down trodden need to to formulate a plan, vote for somebody or something and do something.
We, ve had 5 years now of anti Brexit, anti Tory, anti Boris with nothing but negativity about how bad both this government are and how stupid folk were for voting for it and Brexit. Well offer an alternative.Form a party, vote for someone to represent all this sentiment.
Its easy to knock and criticise, much harder to formulate a set of policies to take us where folk want to go and put someone in place capable of doing so. But nobody will, we, ll just continue taking easy way out and knock everything, from Boris to vaccine and every single thing between.
Yes, Boris is a bumbling fool. Unfortunately he represents our only choice. And, I know for a fact I couldn't have coped with what he, s coped with past few years, for all his faults at least he, s there and still with an 80 seat majority.

Utter rot!
Many on here including myself have offered alternatives, but you want the political equivalent of the RNLI to come speeding over the horizon to rescue you.

And why?
Because you voted for Brexit.
All off this stems from people putting a cross in the wrong box
It's YOUR MESS.
What are YOU going to do about it?
I, m not complaining about it. You are. I, ve coped with covid, because of jab. Filled car up whenever I needed, eaten well. Had eyes sorted, had 2 heart ops, seen all 4 grand kids cope well over last 2 years.
Only time I feel down is reading the rot in here. Yes, things aren't perfect, they never are. You sit in judgement sat at your screen and accept all the benefits but do nothing but complain and have done so for past 5 years now... But not a damned thing done at all about any of it apart from complain and blame somebody else for your alleged predicament. Pathetic.
Amazing isn't it how terrible all our little lots are but here we all are complaining on somebody else's behalf. Boris is thus, Tories are that, we are all doomed and you have audacity to ask what I, m doing about it. Feck all, that's what. I ain't complaining. You are.
Get Starmer, Corbyn, Abot or McCluskey to sort it. You, d have something to complain about then.
Its just an easy get out for you. Come on here and moan, blame and insult. Nothing actually done in 5 years now. Nothing. Same old same old.
Not that long since you were complaining about not being treated properly when you had your first jab. The jab 99% of world hadn't had at the time. You deserved your second jab before rest of us hadn't had our first.

Pardon me for pointing it out, but the rot on here is your posts, the Virgin Wailing in distress to be rescued has worn thin.
Now it's hard not to suspect that you aren't just cutting and pasting previous posts.
And if you like I could put together the lies you regularly make up, and fabricate about other people's posts, usually mine in fact .

Here is todays distortion you posted
"You deserved your second jab before rest of us hadn't had our first."

Try actually reading the posts

Kind of you to suggest I did, I never said that !

To quote you... Utter rot, and you know it. You complained about the wait, you complained about timing and you complained about delay for your second... There isn't anything I can think of you haven't complained about.
I suppose the clue is in your handle... Old Groaner... You live up to it...

James Gray should refuse to step back from this role, his mistake was entirely reasonable, given these tweets and retweets from education secretary Nadhim Zahawi, who even teamed with Sajid Javid in a joint health letter. All in the last couple of days:

"Mental health and wellbeing is so important. I want every child and young person to feel comfortable talking about how they feel and for them to know how they can get support or advice. "

"If you're pregnant, it's recommended that you have the flu vaccine, whatever stage of pregnancy you're at. The flu jab will help to protect both you and your baby"

"@nadhimzahawi
and
@sajidjavid
write to parents of secondary school and college students to thank them for all their efforts in keeping education safe for all during the pandemic and talk about the importance of Covid vaccinations and regular testing"

"A FIFTH of England's most critically ill are unvaccinated, pregnant women. I hope those spreading fear and disinformation out there are proud of themselves. Please, please, whatever your politics, your age, your religion, your ethnicity, your nationality, please get vaccinated."

"Whether it is going for a walk or seeking professional support, put your mental health first."

"On 10 October, 34,574 new cases and 38 deaths within 28 days of a positive test were reported across the UK."

Rather a lot of tweets on health from an Education Secretary, easily outnumbering those from him on education.
.
His mistake about ministry was not the worst part.

And I really do think that all MPs should be expected to know their own party's cabinet members. By name, by job and be able to recognise them.

That's the job spec of Parliament's police on the entrances!

MP's job is keeping Parliament's 30 bars open while waiting to vote to order, which job done properly doesn't leave much capacity for advanced recognition skills.

Once again you overstep the mark where truth is concerned
What I actually complained about was not sticking the the maker's period between doses as this encouraged new strains to appear.
But you embroidered that didn't you?
I said that they had ballsed up the timing with bogus information to make the numbers better for political reasons
I didn't claim any personal advantage
You distort everything at every opportunity
I was right, and lo and behold we have fallen behind the EU in vaccine coverage.
And new strains have appeared, just as I said they would.

Everything you claimed was incorrect
Now get back under your bridge

And now it appears PCR tests aren't working. People with positive lateral flow and Covid symptoms are receiving negative PCR results. Oh dear... :(

Yes, but just think how much money is being made out of testing. There is a bloke near me who ran a small genetics testing lab. He’s moved into Covid testing and has made enough money to buy a village! He owns the Manor House and estate including the village church now. Yes, the testing might be meaningless garbage, but it’s not all bad news, just look how rich people are becoming.

I was maintaining this long ago, it was very obvious from the inconsistencies. Both tests are unreliable and no definite indication of actual infection or none.

Captain Kirk is the latest celebrity due to ride into the upper atmosphere aboard a wealthy man‘s firework. It’s becoming rather trendy. Would anyone like to predict how long it will be before one of them starts to preach about global warming and how important it is for poor people to reduce their carbon footprint?

When they detonate a rocket explosively. (Rather than a relatively controlled burn.) Some of the next in line will turn to green arguments to explain their seat cancellations.

Take blue as their target, add some yellow fear/cowardice after an explosion, and you get green. Simple.

What a fiasco the post Brexit Northern Ireland trade arrangement has turned out to be. Boris Johnson promoted this deal on national television and described it as oven ready and fantastic for the UK’s future. He signed up to it.

Now, just a few weeks later, Johnson’s deal is being portrayed as spitefulness being carried out by the EU.

It seems that government can do absolutely anything and not face any accountability at all. Only yesterday they were accused of being responsible for tens of thousands of deaths due to incompetence. Today, it doesn’t feature in the news.

The situation at our ports is another fiasco that was warned about 15 months ago. Yet again, no accountability for that.

A bit long winded but very good explanation around why Remain message lost referendum.
(It's a sort of half way house between Spectator trying to debunk the project fear myths and Remainers telling them wait and see)

On a personal level, which ultimately we all use to assess situation..
My fridge is full, water comes out the taps, plugs power kettle, there, s fuel in the car and house is warm. Kids are in employment and grandkids happy and healthy. I get my medication monthly no problems and had 4 ops in last couple of years. My house has gone up in value, as as car and motor home.
Has project fear materialised... Nope. Has country bounded to great wealth now out of EU. Nope.
Would I vote tory again. Yep, there is still no viable alternative.
Would I want Boris in charge? Probably. Best of a bad bunch.
Covid wise... Government have sort of muddled through. Not good, not that bad either. Could do better.
I, ve stopped watching news, because it isn't. It's some media company trying to put down this group or another and sensationalise everything. BBC worst offenders.
Project Fear was a disaster, hasnt materialised but then again there hasn't been any benefits either.
Personally glad to be out EU but can see disadvantages.
I, ve had 2 offers of work (to drive vans?) wife had 2 letters asking her to go back in civil service...??? Had at least 5 people trying to buy my camper van.
Problems... Can't get a builder or a gardener. Our milk seems to go sour quicker these days. Don't think I, ll be glueing my hands to M1 anytime soon over that.

I know many people who are having problems with certain medications.
