the Supreme Court's justices have taken an oath to defend the constitution.
Frauds in postal votes make up less than 0.1%. The Justices will have no problem with the count.
After Al Gore asked for votes in Florida to be recounted 3 times, the Supreme Court decided in favour of Bush. The problem wasn't that the justices voted for their party, it's because Gore did not win clearly any of the recount.

That's because they didn't count the under votes, when every vote was eventually totted up Gore got most.
Sadly by then the Justices had already decided Bush had enough to get in, if we see the same thing with Trump he'll stay right where he is now for another four years.
Seems he's narrowed the gap again by a few points, amazing what a quick dose of the pox can do.

there is no way Trump is going to win all the swing states this time. Polls predicts he'll win some of the swing states like Missouri, Texas, South Carolina, and maybe Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina and Florida but they won't be enough. He'll have to win all of them, Maine, Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Virginia, Vermont where Biden has currently up to 9 points lead.

Putin has Trump in his pocket, no one seems to know for sure why that is. Several reasons have been put forward eg.
1. Trump is over $400 million in debt, probably to Putin or Putins mates.
2. Putin has kompromat on Trump from years ago, a google search will provide you with some suggestions of what it might be.
3. Trump seems attracted to strong, ruthless leaders such as Putin, admires people like that, and would I am sure hopes to do to America what Putin does to Russia. (Putin is believed to have over 30 billion dollars stolen from his own people, tucked away in banks all over the world).

We all have a responsibility to make a few very minor sacrifices and adjustments to our way of living, but many are incapable of even doing that without going into meltdown.

The Covid knock-on affects are just a case of TSB (tough $hit baby). Should have thought about that before cramming onto Brighton Beach, into bars and attending other large social gatherings.

Theres the small matter of very expensive medical care (trumps buddies in big pharma cashing in their chips in the nhs) and I guess chlorinated chicken and other erosion of consumer and workers rights, which are more likely to happen as part of a deal with trump than Biden.

Correct on every point except being a golfist. I take great offence at the suggestion. I don’t own any golf racquets, an Audi or a Volvo and neither do I have any Pringle sweaters or Farah slacks in my wardrobe. I am extremely boring but I don’t combine it with golf. I have played golf and I was good at it, but as a pass-time, I hate it.

I have discovered being a nuisance on public forums and now I dedicate my life to that purpose, not being a player in a golfing side.

I’ve just taken a look at the infection map of England. I have travelled around England a fair bit and lived in many different areas. From my experiences, I would say that the infection map would be identical to a stupidity map if such a thing existed. Generally, the people living in the red areas speak funny (have those “Comedy Accents” loved by the BBC), are fat and don’t know how to behave in polite society. It’s an interesting correlation.

So, what should we do?

It seems obvious that the current half-way-house and local lock-down measures are having zero affect on suppressing the virus. The measures are damaging the economy and we may as well not bother.

A full lockdown does work, as we saw in March, but it does a lot of damage to the economy. Oh and people get a bit fed-up, aka “it’s damagin’ me mencal elf.

The jockey is never going to get to grips with testing & tracing, so forget that. Johnson is here for the foreseeable, so remove any thoughts of a regime change from your minds.

in the real world, right now, this leaves us with two alternates. Repeatedly putt (see what I did there) the country into full lockdown, punctuated with periods of semi-normality. Or, just let rip.

I think we are in “let rip“ mode right now, but with a thick coating of economic damage for good measure (the worst of both worlds).

It is a pretty nasty way to die, drowning in your own mucus, alone, and then having your death message passed on via a text. But then again, it’s only the oldies and do they really matter? Old people don’t know what’s going on and any sense of dignity or pride left them long ago. Should we just be investing in morphine and crack on?

My cold, callous & uncaring brain can’t quite come to terms with option 2. It’s a conundrum.
