I'm not even a a pretty face you know!OG was the only one at the start of this thread to correctly predict that the referendum would be won by Leave.
And since then he's consistently said he hopes we do leave to teach the leave voters a lesson with the consequences. That's partly what he's doing in the post you answered, not becoming a leaver himself.
There's far more to OG than many in this thread realise.
.
it's not enough to enact the WA to brexit. There are 4-5 large pieces of legislation (bills) to pass after that and before we leave. That's why it's pie in the sky to say that we'll leave with a deal before or on 31st October.Woosh, The UK has run out of rope on this one. The EU might be willing .. although not a slam dunk, to extend the extension yet again, if there were a decision from the UK,and stating No No Deal does not cut it. Also the UK has to REQUEST the extension, and who speaks for the UK if not the PM?. If the UK were by some miracle or catastrophe (depending on ones view point),to enact the WA, then, any extension would be irrelevant as the negotiations would be moving into the next phase.
Even for No Deal brexit, there will need to be a series of bills to be passed:Once passed, the Withdrawal Agreement Bill will:
It will also have to set out a domestic process for the commencement of the Irish border backstop.
- Keep parts of the European Communities Act in force for the duration of the transition period. This will allow the UK to update its statute book to reflect new EU laws that come into force in the transition, and will preserve the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice
- Make citizens’ rights provisions of the withdrawal agreement directly enforceable in the UK so that EU citizens in the UK can enforce those rights in the UK courts
- Create an “independent monitoring authority” to police the UK’s compliance with the citizens’ rights part of the withdrawal agreement at the end of the transition period
- Give the Withdrawal Agreement, and any EU law incorporated into the Withdrawal Agreement, a form of “supremacy” over UK law
- Give the UK courts new instructions on their relationship with the European Court of Justice
- Give ministers powers to make payments to the EU under the “financial settlement” (the divorce bill).
We know.I'm not even a a pretty face you know!
As in the scene from the film the Robe, where John Wayne has the lineHe's awesome.
Is that the name of a pub? They won't screw it up this time.
But I am of the belief there will not be a ge. I'm at millbank tomorrow so will ask Laura and John what they reckon.
Steady there..remember Fingers can't spellHe's awesome.
Basically it looks more like my prediction that May's deal will go though is a real prospect.Guardian tacking? The EU banked on parliament rejecting no deal. Now that’s all changed | European Union | The Guardian
Europe is starting to soften its stance, says Anne McElvoy, senior editor of the Economistamp.theguardian.com
Oh, yes ofcourse, he picked winner in a 2 horse race. Nostradamus lives in Hull and sells bogs for a living.
To be fair to Gerald he has posted more on here than Nostradamus wrote in Les Prophities, when you post so much, something by laws of averages must be right. His sharing out of fishing cash was one of his low ebbs.
If the UK did pass the WA, then the other elements would fall into place. If the UK Crashes out ,then as far as we 450 million are concerned, any internal legislation you bods need is your own business.it's not enough to enact the WA to brexit. Bojo tries to wing it but he can't be serious.
Deliberate mistake Fingers.Remember when he thought a million people were tuning into his posts?
Priceless
Funny ...that was not what was said or implied. What is not funny is that is what you choose to regurgitate.Remember when he thought a million people were tuning into his posts?

Its easy to criticise Boris but I do suspect EU will bend more now they think he, d take us out under no deal. Dont think there is any point in asking for further extension or granting it if we do. EU really dont want no deal, their budget for next year is short under one. They have spent the divorce sweetener already. If the UK did pass the WA, then the other elements would fall into place. If the UK Crashes out ,then as far as we 450 million are concerned, any internal legislation you bods need is your own business.
Nobody remembers that Fingers, because it never happened.Remember when he thought a million people were tuning into his posts?

No one seems to have a alternative, and it will give the Liar King what he wants, something he can pass the blame for.

Extrapolation from 1M views to 1M different viewers is your invention . And would be catagorised under False News.. ie it could be possibly true, however unlikely.
