Naughty, that was just a fabricated joke submitted by SmellyBlackTwat in Racism - Black in this site, something she hasn't said.
.
Didn’t know of it’s origins, I saw it on Facebook and nabbed it. I never thought it was an actual quote from her, I saw it as a pi$$ take aimed at her mathematical ability.

Maybe this socialist’s privately educated son can give her a few lessons in sums.

We seem to be straying away from the main point of this thread.... Brexit. So here's an example of how come its going to be good to leave. Ready?

OK. Here it is:

Would that not give you reason to pause and think, whether one would wish to be inside the strong organisation which can do that in order to protect their own or be on the outside hoping to get favourable treatment for Scottish whisky?. If Spanish farmers are unemployed, then total revenue within the EU is lessened.

I'd guessed you'd seen through it, but I'm sure many might not. The same author has produced some pretty sick jokes as you'll see on this link.

Diane Abbott isn't going to be Labour's Chancellor of the Exchequer, but her mathematical talents could be useful for presenting immigration figures to please the public.

Well done the EU, keeping the business in house, unlike the UK who have opted to lose almost everything to imports.

And that is inaccurate anyway, UK customers don't pay more after the tariffs, we pay the same, just denied the cheap imports that will weaken us all ultimately if we always go for cheap.
.
And shipping from SA is much faster and cheaper than bringing them over on a lorry from Spain...

Seriously when you pick an orange each day between when it is picked and when it is eaten/juiced a percentage of vitamin C is lost. SA will have to pick green so that the fruit survives the trip in container, why do you think the best Florida orange juice with the most vitamin C is the stuff pressed and frozen within the hour?

We are in mandarine season there is a huge difference in the quality of fruit sold in supermarkets here and that sold 11 km from here south of the border. The fruit here is trucked from the south of Spain to Rungis in Paris where it is bought by the supermarket chain and trucked back down!!!!

Think about it for second...

1) so do you really think the UK in a post Brexit world is suddenly going to have free trade, no tariff deals with everyone?

In which case it'll still be cheaper for us to get oranges from Spain, because if we've got free trade with Spain and South Africa, it'll still be cheaper from Spain.

So the change will be ZERO.

Or are you going to put a tariff on oranges from Spain, and not from South Africa, in which case the cost to UK consumer will actually be higher than now.

So the only two possible out comes are either, no change, or it'll take longer and cost more.

HOW IS THAT A BENEFIT???

2) The EU does give free trade to the 49 poorest countries in the world to help them compete with the richer ones. Look up the "everything but arms agreement for the details"

How do you put a bridge over the busiest sea lanes in the world? the man is an idiot.
Why is he still in a job?

Simple, all the boats sail underneath it. Or you could have a giant copy of Tower Bridge in London which raises to let the boats through. What about a swing bridge like we used to have on the canals? The solutions are endless and not difficult, you just need a man in overalls to build it and they are cheap.

What about a tunnel ?

Its not just making bridge high enough to let ship pass; there is also a big problem with ship hitting abutments/ towers knocking the thing down. Think it happened to a bridge over Forth ... Anyhow , its an issue...but not insurmountable..
There were plans ( ok , discussions) to build a Bridge from Tarifa to Moroco...joining Africa to Spain...??? If they did both we could cycle from John O Groates to Cape Town...That would need a big battery...

Boris wants a road tunnel. Will work with electric cars as long as there are no lithium battery fires! Too long to evacuate petrol fumes without a chimney or two and they risk being run into by ships... So no lorries, that is why the current tunnel works the way it does.

The density of shipping traffic though the channel makes a bridge that has to be opened an impossibility, it would be open nearly all the time.

Make all shipping go round the British Isles, no problem for modern ships, and fill in the channel at the narrowest point with a barrage incorporating a bidirectional hydro electric dam section. The huge and long duration differential flows between the North Sea and the channel that opens to the Atlantic would power much of Britain.

A wide multi lane road could run along the top of the barrage.

Maybe the cars could jump the gap "Dukes of Hazard" style when the bridge is open? We need to stop finding reasons why not, and get behind our Foreign Secretary. He does know what he's talking about, doesn't he?
