Irish Times reporting that Ryanair has confirmed it is de-listing from the London Stock Exchange because of Brexit.

Already known but looks like we are almost there.

Which ends with:

IKB expects that Britain will see a GDP growth of 7.5 percent in 2021 and 5.2 percent in 2022.

Whereas the ONS doesn't agree:

How does a stay in an airport lounge cost £1800? I’ve used airport lounges and the cost has included all drinks, food and quiet pleasant surroundings away from grotty wild children and their equally unappealing parents. The cost is usually around the £75 to £100 mark.

What do you get for 18X what I pay?
The Windsor Suite, with Michelin starred food & drinks.
I think he's got a discount. The normal price is £3,300 a time.

He's got his own grotty wild child… or is that children?

I've travelled business class a few times and found the facilities perfectly adequate - not paying anything over the flight. Though I accept that in his case there could be security issues which require special consideration.

Had a blood pressure test yesterday at my GP - 118/68!!!! That first number was much higher before I lost three stones - can't rememer exactly what it was, but it was in high blood pressure territory. Slow jogging really worked! The ebiking - unsure that it's contributed much, because my assist settings are so high (for low knee pain). The nurse said that the second number was a little concerningly high, but I have no idea what that's about. And I still have 11lbs to lose.

I don't get the nurse's comment.

Your pulse pressure is relatively high:

Thank you, that's very interesting... and in line with what I can feel. When I was younger, I can't recall being able to count my pulse without the aid of instruments or pressing of an artery, as I can now. More slow jogging required methinks, and time to really get shifting those very stubborn final 11lbs.

It is just urine extraction. I hope that is what was put into the champagne...
Semen in food is harder to detect - sorry.... there's no icon for this absolutely disgusting alleged revenge practice, and I'd be very worried if there ever was.

Had a booster today - Pfizer after original two AZ. No effects so far.

But I couldn't see anything on the Patient Information Leaflet about it being used as a booster having had a different vaccine originally. I think I'm fairly well aware, so it doesn't really make any difference. Simply, I expected it to be stated, otherwise it implies its use as a booster is off-label. (Yes, looked at the SPC as well.)
I've read about that somewhere - they might be hoping that a vaccine mix will be more effective as a booster, otherwise why tackle all of the ultra-cold storage requirements for the Pfizer (and much higher cost)? Merkel had Moderna as a second jab:

Interesting turn of phrase here in Ireland. Leo ,the Tainiste, or asst. PM and s qualified and currently registered medical practitioner is not calling them booster s but a three jab vaccine and the card I got last week calls a 4 jab a booster
I certainly hope that your recent difficulties were not caused (or made worse) by the extremely rare heart-inflammation side effect. I've had "One in a million" medical problems THREE TIMES! One should never underestimate "One in a million". One was a extremely rare tumour which hardly anyone ever gets, the others were by freak chance.

It makes sense to me that the booster is a different product. (Even if I am technically wrong. :) )

If a variant arises that gets past the immunity produced by one vaccine, there is at least a faint hope that the effects of a different vaccine might still help.

Someone close has a genuine one in half a million disorder. Worse, the form she has is not the form most often discussed (which is usually one of a number of genetic issues) and her presentation is also unusual.

Most doctors cannot even pronounce the name of it. My own dulcets have even been broadcast on Radio 4 pronouncing it quite clearly!

Sorry to hear about that.

I'd send you a PM detailing these three "One in a million" maladies that I've had, but I'm sure site admins can access those - doctors look at me with amazement when I list them. They usually have never heard of the tumour type.

What?!?!? That's impressive! You must know your onions from your turnips! I occasionally confuse the two, but that's the CSR (which is far too common to be one my three "One in a million"{s}).

I had to use a train for a business meeting last week, and 1 in 7 people were wearing a mask - this was true for both station and train occupants - "53%" effective at prevention? Mask wearing in all shared spaces should be mandated immediately. Plus fines for those extremely irritating people who leave their noses poking out. Why do they do this? Was it just the big-nosed ones? I'm scanning my memory, but they looked like noses sized in the average range. Big honkers are more noticeable dangling pendulously over a mask:

I have great pulse pressures, typically between 50 and 65.

At 22.33 hrs on 15/3/20 I managed a pulse pressure of 119.

World beating as Boris might say.

I think just a benefit of age and experience. ;)

Pulse pressures from my last two readings are 50 and 43 - but I still have much to learn, Zen master ;)
