Potentially we will lose access to radioactive isotopes for medical use due to the Euratom debacle. Could have a direct effect on lives.Let's see; we haven't yet exited the EU and these events have occurred. It certainly doesn't bode well for the future of the UK:

And the supreme irony? the Government accepts all this and still regards a two year old vote in a Advisory referedum as one of the Ten Commandments and is afraid to do what it has to do to save the nation from penury.Let's see; we haven't yet exited the EU and these events have occurred. It certainly doesn't bode well for the future of the UK:

it's not going to be like that.Potentially we will lose access to radioactive isotopes for medical use due to the Euratom debacle. Could have a direct effect on lives.
There are plenty of knowledgable folk who are concerned about that potential outcome:it's not going to be like that.
Nobody is going to stop transport of radio sources for medical use.
Time to make Cannabis widely available on the NHS!Could have a direct effect on lives.
I would like to think not. But it is likely to cause distruption. Some of these compounds have very short half lives and all it takes is a few hours delay in customs . It's not that anyone would be stopping them, it's rather that they are not being enabled as a priorityit's not going to be like that.

we have to copy the arrangement between Switzerland and Euratom. There are plenty of knowledgable folk who are concerned about that potential outcome:

Rather than just one exceptional case.Time to make Cannabis widely available on the NHS!

A bit simplistic - we would also need to establish bilateral relationships with other countries which until now have been covered by Euratom, as I understand. Who knows how long they might take?we have to copy the arrangement between Switzerland and Euratom.
we will continue with the transition until we are ready.Who knows how long they might take?
We'll need a Referendum on leaving the Transition by that time!we will continue with the transition until we are ready.
by then, it may be time to vote again.
I reckon a second referendum would happen before we really leave. Donald Tusk said more or less immediately in the aftermath of the EU ref, 'the only alternative of hard brexit is no brexit'. He knows of course how difficult and expensive leaving will be for us.We'll need a Referendum on leaving the Transition by that time!
there is nothing worse for a politician than to be caught lying."In a bid to hang on to power?"
Can we assume that Trump is not a politician?there is nothing worse for a politician than to be caught lying.
Her time is up soon, she is hanging on by her fingernails.
I reckon we may have new GE in October.
No, but we can assume that in America the rule that you have to have a Majority of the Voting public support you to be elected doesn't apply. Can we assume that Trump is not a politician?
It had long been obvious that Russia regarded the EU as something to be worried about. The expansion into the Baltic states was, possibly, the most obvious single step which they disliked. Why should anyone be surprised that they would do what they could to undermine it?And with the latest interest in Banks and his oppo this in the Guardian
