My £20 thing is still a work in progress, Slowly coming along. The rain keeps putting a damper on the painting.

Parts on order to help putting it back together. But ebay sellers are holding me up also. 5 days after purchase they contact me and tell me they dont have the item i bought. 5 days!!! I could have ordered them from China myself.

LEDs ordered from China, 7 Days later they mark is as posted. 3 months ago i was getting stuff in 7 days, Typically it was around 14 days but 7 days to post it...

Anyway, whinge over..

Brake pads another arghhh.. oops sorry :::stop whinging:::

Ordered some Clark's CP110's and some Fibrax XTR ?

They sent me some CP520's instead... And the Fibrax arrived but no manufacturers markings? (fake)?

Opened the Fibrax first and they appear to be rather hard and offer little resistance when rubbed together, Is that normal?

The 520's have a lot more friction and to my mind thats what i was expecting.

I looked on the Fibrax site and they do lots of different colours but nothing seems to say how hard they are. I would sacrifice longevity for extra stopping power.

How do you choose pads?

This is the front wheel with V brakes, aluminium wheel.

Thanks.
