Thank you the tool goes into it but it doesn’t stay as soon as you try to loosen it the tool just slips off
I'd try putting the bike on it's side, then cleaning away all that grime using a penetrating oil like WD40 - really get into those grooves using a needle or something. Also, go around the outside of the thread using a needle, clean as thoroughly as you can. Soak it with WD40, tap lightly with a hammer, leave it to soak for a few hours, tap lightly again with a hammer, then clean thoroughly using isopropyl (you want max friction), also clean the tool... then put some weight on the tool while the bike is on it's side and you're turning in the right direction. Do be careful though, because you're wearing away the thread every time you slip. matthewslack's hot water suggestion is a good one. Oil can act as glue, if left long enough...
