Thanks Miles, you saved me the trouble of posting it as I've also picked it up!

If someone fabricates a two bolt bottom bracket unit for the Twist series this could make a long term replacement if it's successful. The Twist would only need a piece of alloy channel and bottom bracket tube welded to it for this to work ok.
