does anybody know why the times add up but the miles don't I did 7.7 miles stopped then did 20.7 miles both times add up but the miles say 17.6 help much appreciated

28.4 kilometers is 17.6 miles which makes it even more confusing

I have noticed the same. It is always low.

Have you tried the routing with the German map that always comes up? I have never managed to get it to accept a route on the portal, even with just a start and finish. It does not like Firefox. The map is pretty unusable on the bike anyway.
