With the Enterprise's transporters... why don't they play reverse Tetris with Borg ships? Turning them into lots of tiny cubes, would play havoc with plumbing and electrics. Or more pertinently - they've got artificial gravity... why not make gravity ahead of the ship, so they're always accelerating? Wake me up when a downhill generator dongle becomes available (at a reasonable price [about 20 quid]) and not just for Bosch!
BTW - How good or bad is your new SRAM robotic rear mech? I've never changed the jockey wheel on my SRAM X7, still works great.
