Bosch gen 1 intuvia

Hi. 72 year old ebiker of last 6 years. A lorry nocked me into a ditch. Scratched frame and buckled front wheel. Have sorted it all now, but have noticed my intuvia display doesn't work.big split on corner of display. My bike had done 3k miles . Have seen plenty for sale on eBay, but they are all new. Will I have to buy one and start again from zero miles. Many thanks. Michael.

I assume on my Shimano that the mileage is saved in the motor, not the display. I think the same would be true of the Bosch.

I would hate to lose any of my 16270 km!

Mileage on my BBS01B kit is stored on the display... which will make it easier to sell the bike with a very believable zero miles on the (new display) "Clock" in several years time.

I wonder how many km/second my DPC18 display would have to detect before raising an error? A device which could set the odometer on a new display by sending rapid cloned speed sensor pulses, until it matched the odometer value on the old, could be useful.

I’ve swapped motors and displays In my Cube mtb, i can confirm that my Bosch purion display showed the mileage of the motor its connect to.

On my Yamaha the mileage is stored in the motor not the head unit/display.
