Bosch Charger Extension Lead

I own a 2022 Cube Touring Hybrid One 500. It has the Bosch Performance Gen 3 drive unit.

The bike is stored in my garage. I would like to wall mount the charger, but the only convenient location is too far from the bike to charge it. I know I could move the charger, and have it laying on the floor next to the bike, but I don’t want to do that; they are pretty expensive if they are trodden on or receive a blow from a dropped tool.

Is anybody aware of an extension lead for the proprietary Bosch charger plug - the 36v cable? I’m looking for about 2m. Bosch don’t seem to make one, and I can’t find any third party options. I presume the strange plug is completely proprietary and not available anywhere.

Alternatively, has anybody extended the cable by soldering in a longer flex?

Probably don't extend it.

The battery cable is low voltage, relatively high current, and for cost reasons may be sized down towards minimum amount of copper. Significant extra length will cause a bit of voltage drop, which may matter. There may also be a maximum length for the communication cables.

Better to extend the mains end, and perhaps make a neat hanging arrangement on the bike to keep the charger off the floor.
