Carrera Crossfuse E-Bike Women (2018) (36V) Purion Display (one piece/Display not removable) Power button
Motor: Bosch Active Line Plus BOU350 Crank motor
Battery: Bosch Power Pack 400 (On Frame)

I need some help to understand my bike. Please correct my observations/explanations if I am wrong. Thank you in advance for your help. This bike is new to me; I got it because I am currently a bit disabled due to an accident, and another frame model would not be suitable for me at the moment.

To switch the bike on: Press the Battery Test button (which is also the Battery On button), then press the power button on the Purion Display.
There is no other way to switch the bike on.

The (frame) battery pack has a lock that is mechanical only; the lock does not have an electrical connection and does not switch the battery on/off.

The crank motor has a cover for the wiring. The cable plugs go into the controller, which is built into the motor. The controller is not removable (only by Bosch service?).

The blind plugs for accessories cover additional light (12V) and what else?
There are cables available with the right plug for the light, but the light has to be software-activated via the micro USB service port (so the light can be switched on/off via the Purion Display?).

The Purion has no reset button/hole. Can a reset be done by a key press combination when the display is on, or is there another method?

For bike insurance: The serial number is on the frame above the motor and is displayed in two rows.
Which is the serial number: the top row (7 numbers), the bottom row (5 numbers), or is the number the total length of both rows (12 numbers)?

Thank you again for your help.

To turn on and off you only need to press the on/off switch on the display,
battery key is only a mechanical lock,
to reset the trip (distance for each journey or per charge or whatever you want) press and hold both left buttons (no other functions can be changed)
to see the different screen options press and hold the lower left button, the screen can display, trip distance, overall distance, assist level or estimation of remaining distance in the battery (very unreliable as it bases this on the last small portion of your journey, ie if you’ve just got to the top of a long hill in turbo, the remaining battery will be a lot less than if you’ve been riding on the flat in eco)
the motor connectors are,
1- main power from battery,
2- speed sensor,
3- display,
4-front light
5- rear light.
before you go to a dealer to get lights activated, try pressing and holding the upper right button for a few seconds and look at the bottom left of the screen, IMG_0429.jpegyour lights although not fitted may have the function activated (they were on my Crossfuse ) se pic.

Thank you!
Any idea as well about the serial number?

Could I connect the “proper “ light cable to a “12v car USB adapter “ so that I connect any usb (which got 5v output) accessory to it... (what would be the light socket output?)

It might help if you post pictures of the serial number markings.

The light socket might be quite low output. If you exceed its power rating there might be an internal fuse that blows... Maybe check with Bosch first.

There are only numbers in two rows “middle aligned “ no letters

Which is the serial number: the top row (7 numbers), the bottom row (5 numbers), or is the number the total length of both rows (12 numbers)?

Regarding the light socket.... found now a nice diagram... output 1500mA... which should be enough. I could always a smaller fuse into the usb car Adapter to sure nothing can happen?

You're limited to 1 amp maximum. Apart from that, any 12v device should be OK, but be careful of anything that has a high inductive or capacitive load that could cause a spike in the current or voltage. Unless you get confirmation from somebody that the exact converter you get works OK, then it might be an idea to add a flyback diode as a precaution.
