I have problem with the 10s 37v battery (Ridgeback arcus 2 but same like on carrera). It was not in used for a while so become deep uncharge condition. When I open it and check every cells one cell was 20v. Its took charge and become fast to 3.2 so I started to charge it since that time 2A current (3 parallel 18650 so approx 0.67A to each)
It took more than 8A thats why I think it have to live good life, also I have charged every cells to have it balanced.
But
The BMS has no negative output so it is not working. I tried to reconnect everything and reset BMS too with no success.
I am not the skilled microelectronic guy but have some experience and can check some things with multimeter as well as solder so not totally unskilled.
Che charger relay turns every second or so and do not trying to charge. I use another Chinese BMS and everything works even bike but have no battery level on the display because this BMS have no data connection with the controller only + and - wires.
The questions:
1. How to fix original BMS?
2. How to add data connection to new bms to have battery level on the screen?
3. Is this communication is UART (it has 3 wires)
4. Is this communications is different from brand to another brand?
