just got a 36v 20ah battery from bms.
the battery charger comes with a short lead with kettle style plug for charging.
i decided to lenghten the charge cable and alter the connectors on the battery.
i fitted a female deans on battery and male on charger.
pluged in to charge and sparks.a few blown fuses later, cover off charger.
turns out blue is + and red -,
fortunatly there a chunky diode in charger to protect reverse polarity.
hope this will be of help to others and save a bit of head scrathing.
the fuse are, fast 10a 250v.
