It's that time of year again when we must remember those killed or seriously injured whilst fighting over Blaupunkt 32" flat screen TV sets. We remember the sacrifice that they have made.

, talking to my sister today about ASDA not doing black Friday (she works there), she said it got so bad last year that the store had to call the police to calm things down, so they decided not to bother this year.

I've tried to erase from my mind last year's images of hate filled faces and claw like hands grasping at obsolete tablet computers, Russell Hobbs Kettles and 2010 model coffee machines. It certainly was a Black Day for humanity.
