Not me, I find a day at the NEC to exhausting, I hate crowds and the hassle of getting there. I used to go to Focus on Imaging photography show on a free trade ticket but got annoyed at the outrageous parking fee.

When first opened, parking was free (the first motor show) and bused in the last few miles.

And £13.50 to pay to see 3D adverts? Better going to the dealers and getting a better look at the bike you're interested in without having an audience.

Did someone mention humbugs?

I've been for the last three years, and I can't remember it ever being crowded. Off-peak, there's sometimes more exhibitors than visitors. Parking at £12 is ridiculous.

I just found out that I can get an off-peak return train ticket from Telford for £11.60. That's less a lot less than the car cost and no parking charge.

The dealer day is always good, a chance to meet a lot of our customers. We will be there with the new Wispers, Riese and Muller and our new bikes from Diavelo.

All the best

It would be worth going if this
was going to be there. Looks a bit on the dear side though.

I must have missed the price or is that just an assumption?

Regardless, I do like the concept but I couldn't imagine the bike being very powerful as EAPCs go.....till I realised it's carbon and probably weighs about the same as one of my pannier bags.

Given that it is very light, it shouldn't require much oomph to propel it along at a goodly rate but we will find out in due course, no doubt.

I was all fired up to go, then I find there is an extra pound to pay to buy a ticket, the train from the local station need two changes and a straight through from Stoke Station is £8.50 parking.

I bought a flaming bike so's I don't get these payment demands. Time they ripped up the rail tracks and turned them into cycle lanes.

More humbugs.

If you use the discount code 'CTC' for booking the bike show ticket it knocks off £1.50.

A pound goes back on as a booking fee, but that goes on anyway so you are a quid and a bit, if not quids, in.

Hi Croxden,
I will confirm later whether we can get the Yes bike there, I certainly hope so. Brian (in the video) will be at the show with the Brose models.

EDIT. I have been told this was a prototype and so far not available.

All the best David

Just bought the ticket and then noticed that none of the ebikes can be tried on the bike track or they are not on the list yet?

There will be many bikes to try Chr4! The test track has in the past been a bit timid, but at least you will be able to compare bikes on a "level playing field" :)

I must admit I could not sleep last night and checked their website again and found it. However, I was too tired/lazy to edit my comment using a mobile phone and was going to do it today. Thank you both for confirming.

The good thing is that the ebike track does not require wearing lycra which I don't (intend to) have.

On the list of bikes published for NEC I did not see KTM Macina Tour 10 or Fun 9. Is this list set in stone now or could it change a little?
Tour 10 crossbar is currently on top of my short list but is not in stock in my local ebike shops so seeing it in the flesh would be a bonus.
