bionx pl-250 ht vs pl-350

Looking information for the bionx PL-250 HT (hight Torque) and PL-350, both have the same weight, torque, battery (9,6A & 36 V) and price. A german forum says that they're equal, but ¿what do you think about this?. If you derestrict the 250 watts one you'll get a 350 watts.
P.D. the new KTM ecross has this motor.

I'm fairly sure the only advantage the 350 has over the 250 is the speed it will run to, the 250 being the EU legal version, the 350 being the original and "native" motor fitting Canadian and most US law with it's 20 mph capability. They also make the high performance 500 now, used in the new Riese and Muller bike for the high speed e-bike class in Germany (45 kph/28 mph).
