Bike Hods at Waitrose

Our local Waitrose in Cambridge has just annouced that it is participating in a trial to loan bike trailers to shoppers. The web site below gives some clues on what it is all about.

Looks something that an electric bike could easily handle and Flecc's web site shows that much bigger items can be transported by trailer.

I have no experience yet of this particular arrangement and would be interested in any others who might have. The only catch seems to be that you have to return the trailer within 3 days, so no good for the weekly shop!

I bought on of these trailers and got it for £50 delivered..... all the way from Germany. It's a great piece of kit and easily useable even with a non electric bike. He sells them regularly. It's stable and can carry all sorts. It's also very light.....

you did well as have just read one of his 74 negatoive feedbacks for the last 12 months from someone who bought 2 and although he said they was good scooters he had bought he felt it a bit excessive at £70 postage for two...
