Bike Computer - Newbie query 2

Anybody recommend a bike computer say up to £25? Need to make sure we know how far we've travelled so that we know we've enough 'juice' to get back

aldi £4.99 work great and wont hurt if you loose it.can set wheel size to a mm.
if youre thinking wireless type.my wireless one wouldnt work,probably interefrance from motor and wires.
