Hi,
can anyone let me know where can I buy a BigStone c300s display? It's for a recent folding pedelec and would like to have spares.

Also, as long as voltage and Amps match across all components, would I be ok connecting it to a KT controller?

Sorry if it sounds a bit noob but not sure if communications are only PWM signals or we are talking about any digital programming which needs to match both components

Manu thanks!

Bigstone matches Lishui (LSW)controllers. KT controllers have to be matched with KT LCDs. It's not so much the protocols, but more the actual commands, like I tell you to ride your Haibike to Rollesby. You reply that you don't have Haibike, where TF is Rollesby, and why should you anyway? You understand everything I mean, but it doesn't help.

I'm now reading more about STM micro controllers. Do you have any experience with that? It looks like Lishui uses STM. I'm really eager to get more into the motion control aspects of ebikes. I see they also provide software for controllers but not sure how would programming two parallel components (controller/display) would work.
My first ebike. It's a great revolution I think! :)

Go for it and teach us. Actually, somebody reverse engineered the KT software and has made open source code to improve it. It's an absolute treasure trove of info about how the motor control works. You can find the massive thread on Endless-sphere.

Already done actually :) : https://opensourceebikefirmware.bitbucket.io/development/Motor_controllers--Other_controllers--Lishui_motor_controllers--LSW-675.html

And there's even a Bluetooth controller with an mobile app : https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/lishui-bluetooth-controller-programming-the-easy-way.24210/

@vfr400

So finally today had a bit of time to investigate the Lishui controller and see if it's an STM32 processor which could eventually allow debug with STM tools. To great disappointment the controller box is filled with gel potting so can't easily slide the board and see the mcu type without making a mess.

Ordered a Julet 8 to 5pin display cable and will try to connect this way with an STLink V2 once I figure out the swapped pinout by DasKit as you mentioned. For now just want to have a nose around not making any changes but to learn a bit more about control and FOC

In the meantime have my eyes on a possible set to start building and tinkering with until time is needed to install.
for a 20" Folder: AKM Q128 CST (48v 328rpm but would run it at 36v) and TopBikeKit T09P Square Wave with LCD5.

I think this kit would already give me a lot more choice than the current restricted system. All is working great so far but would like to have more torque and speed in the future to tackle the Big Smoke cross sections :)

Any idea where I can buy a Bigstone C300 from please? I contact Bigstone by email but had no response. My bike will be written off if I can't get another controller for it. Local e-bike shops seem to be very busy and not interested in chasing down hard jobs. Thanks.

only found a C600 so far:

you may need to purchase a kit with controller to work unless you can program it.

Otherwise for fully matched pairs try Leoncycles, Magnum Bikes, Das-Kit
