Hi

Looking at getting an ebike, not sure where
to even start looking I'm 6ft8 and around 24stone and thinking that ebiking is the way forward. I've looked at big bear plus which woosh say the weight is no issue but the frame would be too small, any other suggestions, will be some off and on road but no harsh trails.
Would I conversion kit be better if so what standard bikes are there suitbale and what conversion kits are better for heavier riders? Some others have suggested getting a fat bike?
Thanks for any help.

Look for any cheap bike with a conventional triangle frame and disc brakes. A steel frame would be ideal, but alloy is OK. You can then put on whatever kit you want. Don't waste money on an expensive donor bike unless it's only to get one that fits you nicely. The cheap bikes work just as well as any expensive one and they're generally easier to convert. Also, the electric motor takes away many of the advantages you get from expensive bikes. I've converted very many bikes to electric and I found that my favourites were the cheap ones.
