Hi all
So in the middle of summer my bbs02 loosened up and started hitting the frame when accelerating, i did the temp zip tie fix which was fine, but now as a permanent solution im thinking of going for the lekkie one nut.
The lekkie four 42 torque wrench head is expensive at around £45 is this absolutely necessary or is there a cheaper head available from someone else.
Thanks

Ok mate will give that a try and hopefully save some spondooleys, thanks for the tip.
I would always fit a torque arm, which takes about 5 minutes to make if you have an angle grinder or file and a drill. Here's how I did mine with a £4.50 clamp. See post #63. here's the clamp:

After the big nut loosened on my BBS01B, I tightened it tighter than I did the first time, by hand. The Bafang tool is very uncomfortable to apply a lot of force with by hand, so I wrapped a tea towel around it's thin handle (that thin red plastic covering over the handle doesn't do much to reduce hand pain when applying a lot of force), to even out the pressure. Hasn't loosened since, and it's been over three years. May or may not work for you, I'm dude with extremely strong arms, but I think you should try that first instead of tightening that nut by thumping the tool with heavy stuff. Tightning that nut by hand is not for girly weakling dudes with puny ickle arms. There are strongman exercises and diets, and it's never too late.

I tightened with a whack as said, occasionally it starts to creak a little, just asking for another whack.
