Had a ride along Seaton Carew beach the other day.
Had to push it through the last 5 yards of soft sand before the high tide mark but otherwise it did great.

Nice... Hope you gave the bike a good clean afterwards, or you'll end up with no drivetrain left

It got a real good wash just an hour later!

Before setting off on this ride I gave the chain a good coating of Muc-off 4 step chain oil and its still on the chain and no trace of sand on it either.
I guess thats partly because I only rode slowly through the loose stuff(not that I had a choice!) and partly because 29er wheels gives it a bit more clearance than other bikes.
