So I finished building a folding bike with a BBS02 750w motor and 52v 14.5Ah battery
My use case requires me to have a bike that folds but I still wanted something with some power.
After seeing the Lunacycles folding bike yet sadly not able to get one in the UK I decided to try and build one.
The donor bike is a Tern Link A7
It works really well, bags of power - can hit about 28 mph and eats hills.
In hindsight I would have got a slightly better done bike since this one has a 7 speed freewheel and the smallest gear is 14T
I would also have got a smaller battery and gone for the BBSHD but I'm pretty pleased with it.
It is a lot of fun to ride. Wants to pop a wheelie in 1st gear
