More advise needed,
It doesn’t say in the instruction manual when charging the battery whether the battery switch should be on or off position,
Which would it be please
Generally, if no charge is actually taking place, the charger LED will show green, eg. showing fully charged. You will also see the same, if the charger is on, but not plugged into the battery charging socket!
But in a normal charging cycle, red will be shown first (assuming the battery is not already fully charged), while actually charging, changing to green, when the battery is fully charged.
Checking the battery voltage with a volt meter, may shed more light on the problem.
I have two bike batteries, one does not care where the key switch is placed, charging always takes place.
The other one is wired differently, and needs the key inserted and turned to allow either charging or riding.
The key in both cases also causes two lugs to extend, fixing the battery in the bike frame.
