Hi. Does anyone know of someone who does battery re-celling? I knew a chap who did a couple for me, both worked really well, but it appears he's now got a full time job and no longer does this. Alternatively, anyone got a spare, good battery for a Freego Hawk electric bike? Thanks peeps

Prices very steep
Quality very high. Best cells and construction by a real expert.

There has been the odd cheaper service from time to time, but the fact that they are no longer operating says it all.

It's not difficult to do it yourself. All you need is a cell-pack that fits in the case, then join 4 wires and it's done. There are loads of such cell-packs on Ebay and Aliexpress that don't cost much and are probably better than the one you had when it was new. £150 should be more than enough.

If you can't solder, get a friend to do it.
