Just had the wife's 5 year old Big Bear battery re-celled by the ever efficient Jimmy.
The old one was getting saggy on the Welsh hills leading to increasing range anxiety, though still working well.
Jimmy has turned what was a 14Ah into a 19Ah using Samsung 21700 - 50g's. On charge at the moment, yet to be put on the bike.
Also in the parcel were the old cells with a sticker to take them to the local re-cycle centre. This gives me a problem as me and the wife both drive vans and Ceredigion council won't allow us in.
So, I have a brick (no BMS) of 70 Samsung ICR18650 - 22P cells that hold charge and may be useful to someone.
If anyone wants them, they're yours for the price of postage.
PM me.
Ben

I doubt you will be able to post them Ben, it would have to be collection.
The old Sam 22p (cobalt ) were a good cell at 10a rating, so could be a good little project for some one.
I take all my cells or any type of battery to my in -laws business (security alarms) as they get paid by weight for scrap/recycling battery collection.
