Hi everyone,
After hours of riding along trying to spot where the rattle is coming from. We’ve found it and, cured it
The tray that the battery sits on is plastic. That paired with a metal rack isn’t a good idea.
i did a temporary try to fix today, two sheets of paper towel folded into thirds, this lies on the plastic tray and the battery slides over it.
this provides sound proofing and, doesn’t put undue tension on the battery connecting terminals.
Anyway it worked so, now I’m going to cut a piece of silicone cooking tray liner and lay it in place of the paper for better sound proofing and it will not slide.
I’m currently looking at electric bike conversion kits. I’ll take a look at whoosh later.
