it's okay the guy is sending me another one.
I was emptying a bit of water out of the battery case of my new cheapo bike before yesterday when one of the wires from the charger socket fell out. I wiggled the second wire and it fell out too, and suddenly I didn't know which pins were positive and negative.
so I put a multimeter on the charger pins to find which is positive and it immediately gave a nasty little buzz so I stopped, possibly a short warning.
I unscrewed the charger plug and looked at the red wire to match the positive on the battery socket and fixed it all up.
when I plug in the charger the red charging light comes on, but it has been charging for more than six hours and it's still red. they are new batteries i don't really know what they do yet, they may take a few cycles to reach their full charge capacity? is it a really bad idea to put a multimeter onto a charger?
