6 lights in a row. Middle 4 show green outside 2 show red.Its not just showing all the lights including the lowest 2 in red? one of my batteries shows 1 red and 4 green when full, if the red comes on alone it means its flat.
Is all greens the normal condition after charging? How discharged was the battery beforehand?6 lights in a row. Middle 4 show green outside 2 show red.
It's just that you would expect all greens?
Don't know never checkedIs all greens the normal condition after charging? How discharged was the battery beforehand?
That would be useful to have confirmed. You are correct on the LED layout, however I fail to see how your description helps me! Logically they should be all green surely?Andy @ Woosh is not in this afternoon so I can't confirm but if I remember correctly, the there are 6 LEDs at the back of the CD batteries, they are symetrical. The two outside LEDs are red, they correspond to about 15% capacity left, the next two (which are LED 2 and LED 5 from left to right) correspond to about 15% to 40% and the middle two (LED 3 and LED 4) 40% to 100%. It would be simpler if they have 5 LEDs red + 4 greens. The voltage is better displayed on the LCD.
So that could be my situation? i.e. there is(are) always 1 or 2 red?Its not just showing all the lights including the lowest 2 in red? one of my batteries shows 1 red and 4 green when full, if the red comes on alone it means its flat.
Errm, so why did you charge it?Don't know never checked
It was NIL discharged i.e. fully CHARGED!
Well that would be reassuring, however d8veh seems to say the outer red lights give some indication of charge? I'm confusedyes, the outer LEDs are always red LEDs. They are not multicoloured. The two middle LEDs go out first.
Philip you have misread my slightly ambiguous statement. More importantly why won't you be in York on Sunday for the big day or are going to check it out somewhere else?Errm, so why did you charge it?
