My Montana E-bike has a battery pack that contains 3 12v lead acids, and is fused. The fuse assembly has alwasy run pretty hot and sometimes smells of burning plastic. The bike lost power the other day and the fuse assembly has pretty much met its maker.

The bike is 250W and 36V so I assume a 10A fuse would be in order? There's not enough of it left to see what the existing one was.
Can I get a suitable fuse assembly somewhere?

Here are some pics of the damage for your entertainment

Hi

Halfords or maplins and fit a blade fuse using 6.5 terminals inside the battery 10a is a bit small I would fit a 20 amp you need to allow for peak amps old story but the fuse should blow before the cable melts so NO fire

Bought a fuse holder from maplin and put a 20amp blade fuse in it. I've soldered it in place bypassing the old fuse arrangment and tucked it inside the battery enclosure - result, success - bike is back to its best.
Thanks Frank.
