Hi,

I've been working on a project for the last 18 months or so, and now that it's in a fairly useable/functional state I've decided to share it here.

So what is it ? It's an open source power consumption and range meter :D

Right now you can download and compile the source code (it runs on an arduino). You'll need to build your own hardware to make use of it, but this is much less scary that it first appears and I'm trying to put together as much documentation as I can so people can build it as easily as possible. Bottom line is if you're prepared to wield a soldering iron you can build this !

the sourceforge page where all the code, documentation/wiki and other bits are located can be found here:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/bangxietymeter/

Feel free to ask any questions :)

Very good work. What are you using for power supply?

I'm using a Buck type voltage regulator (LM2576HV) and my battery is 36v.
