Hi All,
New member here, looking for some experience/help with this new M325 (500w) kit I fitted to my HP Velotechnik Scorpion 20".
So, I fitted it all and all is well, but on the shakedown run yesterday, I needed to set the wheel diameter and/or Circumference.
Standard settings are 28" and 2230mm. I have 20x1.50 wheels and that equates to 20" / 1450mm (approx).
When in the User Interface, I did this setting and exited. There was no error or warning that I could see, so I assumed all was ok.
When riding though, I looked at the speedo on the display and saw an indicated 20mph, whereafter the assistance dropped off. This is as expected.
However, in reality, I was going a lot slower, and Strava concurred with this.
So, I stopped again and went into the UI and looked at the settings, and they were back at 28"/2230 !
I set them to what I wanted once again and rode off. Still the same slow speed, so I stopped and sure enough, they were back to standard!
What am I doing wrong here? (apart from maybe buying the wrong kit...) Is there some way to make my changes persistent?
Has anyone experienced the same thing? I am taking this up with the supplier, but Bafang's support seems poor.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
