Bafang G06

I have been looking at building a fat ebike, I have been looking at the Bafang G06 motors but looking the specification apart the weight the 250/350/500/750 all look the same specification can someone help me with this?
Also the Rated Voltage is listed as (DCV) 36/43/48, why are there 3 voltages i am a little confused?

don't worry, Bafang make motors to suit customers, your choice is limited to what you can get.
What specifications are you after?

I have nothing planned yet, just wondering if there is any difference, i think i want to keep it road legal but is there is a big advantage or the 750w motor?

higher power models give more torque and more speed but all that depends on what the importer has ordered. You need to check the winding codes for what you want before ordering.
Code 16 is about the best compromise for 500W.
I only keep legal G06 models.

the code is the number in brackets - this is a code 10 motor, maximum no load speed is about 19 mph.

yes. You tell Bafang the voltage (usually 36V or 48V) and power rating (250W-750W) that you want, they'll wind the motor to suit your requirements.

Thanks Woosh it makes much more sense now, do you sell a G06 250W motor on in own or in a full kit with battery?

At the moment, I don't but will start selling fat kits in September.
The cost is about the same as the 48V SWX02. It's only the motor wheel that is different.

Hey do u know where i can buy part for that motor i need some nylon cranks

I never had to send one back to Bafang for repair.
