Hello,
I have a question that I can't seem to find any answers for and I'm hoping someone here might be able to help.
I have a 36v 250w Bafang BBS01 and recently bought a new 36v 250w stator and rotor from GreenBikeKit. Upon inspection the new stator says it's 36v/350w and I can see the windings are fewer and noticably thicker than my original (presumably 250w) stator.
So my question is can I run this beefier stator from my 250w controller? Do you think I'd see a difference in performance for better or worse?
Worth noting that I'm not after extra power or speed as this bike is street legal in the UK, I just want to know if it'll work without issues before I get into the faff of returning it.
A related question: are the rotors different between wattages, if so how to tell?
Cheers
Henry
