Hi All - I've had a Cytronex for quite a while now but its a bit battered. after 5/6 years the hub has a horrible graunching noise and the battery is on its last legs. So, time for a refresh..
Whats the current thinking on Hub/Crank? typical use would be road and trails, nothing to hairy but with the possibility (I think thats what knackered my hub.) Would be looking to spend about 2k, prefer a decent bike that has electric rather than a heavy beast that needs a boost.
I'm going to repair my Cytronex in slower time but as the front and rear cogs are saw-tooth shaped the whole drivetrain needs replacing so it can be a winter job to make a commuter out of it..
Any thoughts gratefully received while I browse the last 6 years of the forum.. Dv8h (?) still producing mad bikes for next to no money?
