B&Q Roundabout at Keighley

Anyone using this road will know its scary as hell on a bicycle... Well ,I have just rode up the new cycle path from Stockbridge up to Beechcliffe/Utley Linking the B6265 Bradford Road to the B6265 Skipton road missing out the 3 roundabouts on th A650 Hardings road. The track is being extended from Roydings Avenue where it goes under the bypass. Hardcore at the moment but will be tarmacked next week.

New paths with real tarmac, the utter luxury some people live in. Here we have to make do with scraps of road that was layed sometime in the 80s and has been held together with disguarded chewing gum, the only newly layed bits are so they have a surface stable enough for a speed bump or them lines they put down with speed cameras.

Looks good, that roundabout is a nightmare on a bike so nice to avoid it, I usually use the crossings rather than cheat death!

And this is the good bit
