B&M lighting.. How to get into it?

The light stopped working (dynamo on my KTM Macina) so wanted to check i side to see if bulb of the front unit was ok. There is definitely something moving about in there but I am not sure if these are sealed unit and if not gow do I get the lens thing open??? Just cannot figure it out!

Never tried to take one apart - but have you checked that the connector at the front hub is correctly coupled ? The dynamo connector on these lights is a bit basic and 1st time I took the front wheel off I couldn't get it working again till someone showed me how at the LBS ! It looked like if it got really knocked about at any stage it might need re-seating.

Do not fear we will have a new light in the post next week, and will take a look at yours (will check warranty process). As there was no issue with the connections (from what you said) and from what you have told us the fault appears to be with front light. A bad connection is the most likely problem but does not appear to be the case for you.

Also note B&M lights with halogen bulbs are replaceable however yours has LED lights. I will be speaking to B&M next week, was hoping FLI distribution would provide a named contact but does not appear to be forthcoming. The halogen version is held in by a clip at the front from memory.
