Hi, I have just acquired an Ezze Torq and have a spare AXA ring type lock. Has anyone tried to fit one of these to a Torq? If so how did you do it?
Thanks

This has been raised several times Aldby, but no answer to date. The low rear A frame and carrier mounts on the eZee bikes rules it out in the correct position.

There's an alternative type which can be fitted that's on this link, but it doesn't help with the one you've got of course.

However, you can fit it on the rear of the front fork, and that would bring the key to the correct side for the UK, though the clips might need slight modification. That would add still more weight to the front of course, which might be undesirable.

Fisher do a spare standard mounting kit if you need one.

Thanks Flecc, didn't think it looked possible to mount it on the rear. Like you say, I don't fancy adding more weight to the front end.
Think I will just go down to Aldi tomorrow and get some of their spiral bike locks. £1.99 each, I reckon 5 should be enough to act as a deterrent. All those keys though!

You could get a nice light alarm in place of a couple of those to save weight.
