Anybody who saw the programme about the guy who cycled around the world on a normal bicycle would understand what a crazy idea this is! He had to cycle 120 miles a day on average camping on route. It was difficult enough finding enough food to feed himself let alone finding a charging point (you would need a panier for the adaptor sockets alone!).

I have never seen such a driven individual. it was an incredible achievement. A real shame the TV program was such a budget job. it make Ewan McGregor "trips" a bit of a laughable indulgence in comparison...particularly with the levels of corporate support they have.

and I am ashamed to say I can't remember the lad's name......
