I believe that this possibly comes from the USA, and with a suitable and legal motor for where you live, might allow a good e-bike to be built, so do have a good read if you find the possibility interesting.
Building a battery from ex Ford Focus cells, is something I have never ever considered!!
This guy has been riding this one for around 4 years, which must be a reasonable recommendation that he knows what he is doing!
