Are these style bikes any good on UK roads without front suspension?

Are these style bikes any good on UK roads without front suspension?

With balloon tyres it will be ok, just need to watch that its not tiny if your tall.

How is seat height adjusted on that bike? It'd drive me mad, not being able to change seat height.

Rad video! What bike is that? Mine would fall to pieces on the first set of steps lol. Mad reaction speed and some very serious skills! And not enough teeth!

after being let down on a super monkey and a rad I stumbled across these and bought one today . Being delivered tomorrow along with the rear basket can’t wait

If you’re wondering, out the box it reads 16mph top speed on flat but my gps says 19mph. It feels faster than my DIY ebike.

Seems pretty solid so far. I was a bit worried about no front suspension but I think I had tires inflated too high. Seems OK now.

Doesn’t appear to be a way to derestrict throttle
So it maxes out at walking speed.

probably need a £20 throttle to replace it got mine yesterday with the optional basket very pleased quite a bit cheaper than similar bikes using much the same components .

only issue I have is the rear light doesn’t seem to work
and I thought it was dead before I found the on off switch. Under the battery

Yes I’ve not figured out the rear brake light.
theres 2 switches , one for battery and small one I presume for rear brake light.
Doesn’t seem to come on if headlight is on. Or if pulling brake lever.

It's limited by software in the control system, not by the throttle.

Oh right Is there an easy way to hack it ?

Any idea where this is from? Just packing?
I found if you wedge it above the battery, it stops it rattling! It was in the bottom Of the box but is cracked

It's a packing support for the drop-outs in the forks so that the sharp ends don't go through the carton.

Also can help to stop the drop outs from being pushed in.
