I am thinking of emigrating to spain and want a desent ebike not looking to do any hard core mountain biking but something to absorb slightly rougher cycle paths range is important.

not sure about the impulse 2 moter though.

any focus/haibike dealers in Hertfordshire or London?

yours views please

thank you

I have a KTM Macina Force 29 ( 29'' wheels) with a Bosch Activeline motor. Purchased new in Aug 2015 and motor replaced at 488miles ...other wise its not a bad bike, but I would consider brake upgrades as the TEKTRO rotors and calipers are not as good as Shimano..:)

The saddle looks good, but is a hard as hell on a long ride..Changed for a gel saddle..

I have a Haibike sduro hardseven. Few minor niggles but overall bike highly rated.
Tyres have worn very quickly, front brake had bad vibration, which seems to have cleared..charging plug a bit fiddly .
Only done 300 miles on it but so far absolutely no problems. Climbs fantastic. ( borrowed a Haiibike with cx cd, yam was an equal match for it.)
Was a bit concerned about 409wh battery but has great range on it. ( I,d get 40 on roads easy and get 28 with hard off road/ climbs.
I,d score bike 9/10...Not quite perfect...but nit far off.
Afraid haven't tried others.
Good luck.

I haven't ridden the H bike or Focus, and my hardtail KTM has the CX motor, so comparisons in respect of performance would be difficult.

I'd imagine that the geometry would be similar though, and at 5'10" tall, I find the riding position of the large framed bike pretty much perfect.
The bike feels very light and agile to ride, but again, the spec on my bike including front forks, is different from those on the bike that you have linked to.

The bike has so far only had three battery cycles, but so far range from the 500wh battery has been acceptable. Perhaps with less torque, the range of the Active Line motor fitted with the 400wh battery might even be equal/comparable?

It is too soon for me to be able to format an opinion about range, but taking this ride as an example, the bike covered 32.7 miles, with an elevation gain of 3,533' using a mix of eco and tour, and returned with one bar remaining. As you can see from this link, the conditions were pretty wet and muddy.

Rather than jumping in and buying over here, wouldn't you be better to hold off and research dealers close to where you might end up in Spain, and then see what range of bikes that are on offer.
