May 3, 20188 yr Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not but.. I came across this earlier on eBay, I only came across it by accident as it’s really badly listed, it’s a brand new Bosch CX powered reasonably equipped mtb with the 500w battery, and if you won it at the current bid price of £799 it wouldn’t be much more than the price of the battery on its own, it has 8 hours to go and no bids so far.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electronic-liqrock-bike-Bosch/112969892158?hash=item1a4d87c13e:g:~uwAAOSwyvJayIDP
May 3, 20188 yr Very tempting, but how are you going to get the motor replaced under warranty when the bearings go after 350 miles, like Doomanic's
May 3, 20188 yr Very tempting, but how are you going to get the motor replaced under warranty when the bearings go after 350 miles, like Doomanic's Please contact us before purchase. The old engine must first be sent! Only Performance CX can be exchanged for Performance CX engine. If the e-bike is not yet 2 years old, we can also take over the warranty. https://www.pro-cycling-golla.de/Antriebseinheit_Performance_CX_25_km/h.html
May 3, 20188 yr Author Contact by email or phone ! Looks very much like a scam to me! I thought that too but it’s pick up only, what could they gain?
May 3, 20188 yr I thought that too but it’s pick up only, what could they gain? he hopes he can get near the asking price which is £1,399.
May 3, 20188 yr Author he hopes he can get near the asking price which is £1,399. But that doesn’t make it a scam? Worst that could happen is you bid and win but he refuses to go through with the sale.
May 3, 20188 yr The bike has a' buy me now ' price, the start bid is to get bidders started and will not sell at a low price as the reserve won't be met.
May 3, 20188 yr Author The bike has a' buy me now ' price, the start bid is to get bidders started and will not sell at a low price as the reserve won't be met. Doesn’t it say “reserve not met” when there’s a reserve?
May 3, 20188 yr Author Only if a bid is registered, at the mo there isn't a bid just a start price. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A4-1-8T-Sport-Convertible-Perfect-summer-car/202304105821?hash=item2f1a43ad5d:g:lsAAAOSwn1ta6w-m
May 3, 20188 yr Fare enough, looks like you may be correct. In that case then with a buy me now price he ain't going to let it go cheaply, unless it gets near the buy me now he will probably pull the plug.
May 3, 20188 yr if you want to sell it then start with 99p and no reserve https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bulls-27-5-Ebike-Bosch/132489013912?hash=item1ed8f5ea98:g:eYEAAOSwnMBacXta

May 3, 20188 yr you should of bid 700 and then sold it on here for £1000 i bought my bike of ebay but the seller ended the auction and with 160 miles on it lost 2K from the rrp at the time and a 350 quid dropper post for free
May 3, 20188 yr Author Same here found mine on eBay bid from £995, 7 months old with 270 miles on it, and with extras, asked him him what he wanted and he said £1000, so he ended the auction and I bought it, he even met me half way for pick up (he was in Manchester I’m in West Mids).
May 3, 20188 yr the guy i bought mine from took 8hrs to get here and come from Scotland to the sw as i dont drive. sent 100 quid via pp for postage and drove it down the next day and paid £3500 cash. https://www.e-bikeshop.co.uk/Haibike-xDuro-AMT-PRO-2014 Edited May 3, 20188 yr by soundwave
May 4, 20188 yr I have sold a few of my bikes on ebay, and like SW says the best option is 99p start, no BIN, and no reserve and I was inundated with offers to take it off of sale. I responded to these requests by asking them to make a sensible offer, playing one against another to get my prefered price, but, before cancelling the sale I insisted on a small paypal deposit which gave me their address/paypal details and excluded timewasters, and in every case it all ended with big smiles all round. My plan was to pull it if the bids didnt get high enough, but eBay is getting wise to this and were taliking about adding a fee for some cancelled sales..
May 4, 20188 yr Very tempting, but how are you going to get the motor replaced under warranty when the bearings go after 350 miles, like Doomanic's Why would that be?
May 8, 20187 yr Author Well as no one seemed to want it, and a bike I was looking at fell through, I contacted the buyer myself yesterday, and after some negotiating I managed to get it for £850 I've just got back from picking it up, bleeding 5 hour round trip, and I'm more than happy with it. It's like brand new still has the protective stickers on it, and has 0.01 miles on the clock, well 0.03 miles now as I spun the pedals to make sure the motor was kicking in.
May 8, 20187 yr Author you could not even buy the batt and motor new for that price I know, I couldn't believe no one bid on it when I posted it, I'm glad they didn't though
