Apparently, this is or was an early attempt at a cycle path located in Enfield. Does anyone know if it's true or is it a doctored photo? Perhaps a council employee's attempt at humour!

Could be genuine, I notice the tarmac around the post is newly patched in or broken, so the post may have been added after the arrow painting. The next post in the distance is further out towards the road edge so it may well be a case of lamp post repositioning for some reason like road safety.
