A friend has just bought this for £150 second hand. Possibly made a bit much for it, but seems ok.

I am sure this is the same motor as fitted to the Thompson Euro Tourer..that I have played with before..so the motor is BLDC hall effect sensor motor.

But anyone have details of controller or battery voltage..I have not had a chance to get a voltmeter to the pack yet.
Wondering what voltage the controller can possibly take. before it would need upgrading to a bigger controller.

It does not seem to have any PAS. it seems just to be throttle ..was it like that from new? or has the PAS been bypasssed.?

Yep, looks like that is it.

Wonder if that controller will take 48 volt?/

I did run one of these motors from the Thompson Euro Tourer with 22 inch wheels, at 100volts with an 18 FET controller, it maxed out at 30mph, so it is a slow wind motor, but good up hills if you can supply it the current.
I eventually fitted my old motor in to a kick scooter in a 16 inch wheel..again at 100volts it was extremely torquey

I agree, I've seen that bike before ages ago! I can remember a company used to sell them online, they were a lot cheaper than other e-bikes at the time, but still quite expensive.. about £600 or something. That's like the proper Chinese-domestic market moped-style that are popular over there eh. Didn't one model have a lead acid battery that went under the seat, or perhaps I'm thinking of something else.

I am thinking that if I can fit a 48 volt ping and a Lyen 6 FET controller it will give it a bit more pep and range. original battery appears to be 6 lead acid 6volt packs
