--------------------------------------------------------------------------Just wondered - Do many of us generally ride alone or normally in company?
Where abouts do you live, Rod? I must remember to give the place a wide berth.....And there are always things to see. On one trip last week I came across a car in a ditch with the occupants just crawling out followed a mile or two later by a house on fire with four fire engines blocking a country lane.
It's never dull on your own!

Not Russian, often said to be Chinese but references generally point to it being Western in the early 20th century, from either America or Britain. It reminds me of that Russian curse: 'May you live in interesting times!'

Theres a fabulous 'climb' out of Croydon to Warlingham (the coldest place on the planet too). My poor little moped needed all the help I could give it, from the pedels, to get up Sanderstead Hill. Not sure how the PB would handle it.My pal in Warlingham is heavily into road bikes, and thinks an e-bike to be an abomination of the Devil, so not much chance there.....
I suspect he's more worried that I'll come past him on the climbs too.
Flecc and I were comparing notes about Sanderstead Hill last week as he lives 'round the corner' from there. Much more fun going down it, we decided.Theres a fabulous 'climb' out of Croydon to Warlingham (the coldest place on the planet too). I'm alright though, since my Q bike will climb the length of Sanderstead Hill and even Purley Downs Road from the Royal Oak Centre without help from me if I'm not in the mood for a workout.Flecc and I were comparing notes about Sanderstead Hill last week as he lives 'round the corner' from there.
