I now have an almost new Giant Twist 2.00 which has two batteries. But the left battery holder, even when charged, does not work. The right one works fine. Any suggestions? My local bike shop doesn't do electrics.

I'm not familiar with the connection arrangements in that slim battery pannier mounting so am not able to advise anything specific regarding repair.

Has it ever worked? Where did you purchase the bike from, have you contacted them?
Also, I seem to remember that on some Giants with dual batteries, you select which battery to use via the control panel.
